Searching for Creators

Kaynuna offers three options when it comes to finding talent:

  1. You can Create a new Posting, setting your desired specifications and wait for relevant creators to apply
  2. Use our on-platform Search function to filter through our Creator Marketplace and find ones that match your needs.
  3. Look through our Creator Profiles, which showcase our creators and previous work they’ve done.

Searching for a Creator through our Marketplace

If you’re not sure where to start, Kaynuna offers the ability to search our entire collection of creators that have signed up onto our platform. You can search our Marketplace of over 50,000 Freelance creatives with the "Find Creators" button in your top nav bar. From our here you can search for a variety of things:

  • Name - Search for your desired creator by name (we recommend using First and Last name for a more accurate search).
  • Service - Browse creators by the services they have listed on their profile.
  • Location - Filter by location to see who is currently available in that area.
  • Max Rate - If you have a set budget in mind, enter the max rate you'd wish to pay (on a per day basis)
  • Experience - Search for creators based on particular subject matter or industry experience
  • Language Spoken - Specify preferred languages your ideal candidate would know. This is especially helpful when shooting in foreign locations.
  • Past Hired - Filter by creators that you've previously worked with
  • Saved - Filter by creators that you've saved (which can be done by clicking the save icon on a creator's search result card)

Remember, you can do a variation of filters to narrow down your results, such as searching by Service + Location.

Once you click search you'll be shown those that match your criteria. The search results will appear as snapshots of creator profiles, serving up a variety of information. These include services they provide, their last seen location, a list of their industry experience, and any other relevant details. We'll serve up one of their work samples that best matches your search criteria, which is viewable by clicking the thumbnail. Additionally, clicking the card itself opens up a creator's profile which let's you view an assortment of information such as:

  • Verified Services - These are services that are tied to a verified work sample. You can read more about verified services here.
  • Additional Services - Offered creator services that do not have an associated verified work sample.
  • Experience - All subject matter and industry experience a creator has in their portfolio.
  • Worked With - A complete list of past clients the creator has worked with
  • Reviews - A list of all on-platform reviews a creator has received for projects done on Kaynuna. This is broken down by service.
  • Projects - A complete list of projects completed by the creator. These may or may not have viewable work samples tied to them.

Additionally there are several actions you can take on a creator's profile.

  • Request a Quote - Request a quote from a creator and inquire how much they would charge for a project. You can read more about the different between Requesting a Quote and Hiring here.
  • Hire - Send an offer and a creative brief to a freelancer directly.
  • Invite to Posting - If you have an existing posting that you believe this creator is suitable for, you can invite them to apply.
  • Message - Start a private conversation with the creator.
  • Save - Add them to your saved list of creators so you can easily find them for a future project. You can access your saved creators by selecting the Saved checkbox in the search options.
  • Block - Block all future communication with this creator.
